Welcome
Keith Nash is a marine and landscape watercolourist based in Roughton, near Norwich in Norfolk.
He would describe himself as a traditional landscape artist struggling to become a contemporary landscape artist. He is a firm believer that “less is more” but, like most artists, finds it hard to know when to put the brush down!
Dramatic skies, creative lighting and foreground water are trademarks of his paintings. Often working with a limited palette of two to three watercolours, his work has an impressionistic and atmospheric quality.
His paintings have been influenced by William Turner and, more recently, by Trevor Chamberlain and Edward Seago.
